I joined the original cast of Wicked as standby to the lead role of Elphaba, due to take over full-time in January 2007. I was in rehearsals from the start, and it was great to be able to gain all the original direction from Joe Mantello and Steve Oremus.
During the first three months I did perform the role on nine occasions, and it was helpful to get a taste of the demands of the part before taking over.
It’s definitely the most challenging role I have ever undertaken, and a massive journey to go on each night.

Staring in Chess at the Royal Albert Hall was a dream come true, to sing alongside all those fantastic people was a joy, the choir, company and orchestra all amazing. An experience I will remember forever.

Fantine was a role I always wanted to play. I grew up singing this music and knew I had to be in the show at some point, so this was it. We rehearsed in Kings Cross for four weeks while I was still performing Miss Saigon in the evenings, so it was a challenge!
I loved this show, the character has so much depth and many emotions to travel through, and the cast were great to work with and very supportive.

I had never toured before, so this was an experience. Ellen was another part I have wanted to play, so it was good to finally get my teeth into the role.
We started rehearsing at Sadler’s Wells in the summer of 2004 and we had a great cast from all over the world. I had a lot of fun on this job touring round the UK- it was interesting to see how different audiences around the country took to the show, everyone seemed to enjoy it, but people react differently to such an emotional piece.

After just a year in My Fair Lady I was lucky enough to move to the original cast of We Will Rock You, where I created the role of Meatloaf. It was a great step forward for me, and so amazing to create a role from scratch, not to mention working with Brian May, Roger Taylor, Ben Elton and many other fantastic people.
The journey was just breath-taking- being invited to perform on TV, at the Queen’s jubilee celebrations, Parkinson, Party In The Park, and much more. I also feature on the original cast album of the show.

I joined the original cast of My Fair Lady in late 2000 for rehearsals. We opened at the National Theatre on March 6th 2001.
I was employed as cover to Eliza Doolittle and swing, and I was lucky enough to perform the role in the Lyttleton many times, as well as at Drury Lane, opposite Jonathan Pryce and Dennis Waterman, and directed by Trevor Nunn.
I have particularly fond memories of this, my first West End show, and the experience I gained from the cast and creatives was fantastic.

Hi Kerry, just to say I went to see your one woman show last year and it was superb, any chance you might do another one? Witnessing Brian May at your show also was superb, what a great guitarist he is. I am really looking forward to getting your new album which I have on order and cant wait to hear. I saw you in Wicked five times and thought it was brilliant. We went to see you in Oliver last week as well and you were very very good. Good luck with the release of the new album and hope you are able to do some live concerts once it has been out a while. Keep up that great singing and acting, you are the greatest.
Hi Kerry
I first saw you in Wicked and since then 5 times in all, and on to Oliver twice recently.
i would have loved to have seen you in Les Mis and Miss Saigon?
Would you ever consider Phantom or Love never dies??
I think you could equal at least Sarah who we saw last weekend and i must say loved
looking forward to getting your new album.

Seen you in ‘WWRY’, ‘Wicked’ and just recently in ‘Oliver!’. When I saw you in WWRY I remembered your name, then when I went to see Wicked in Nov 2006 and saw that you were standby I was over the moon. Then when I was given the chance to go to the West End in July for my 16th I just knew I had to see ‘Oliver!’. You were simply amazing! No other words for it. ‘As Long As…’ just took my breath away. I even got the chance to meet you. You’re an inspiration, and seeing you on stage just makes me want to be in the West End even more. Daniel xxx

Kerry, you have been an absolute inspiration to me for several years now and my only wish is that I could have got to know of you and love you sooner, so that I could have witnessed you in shows such as Miss Saigon, We Will Rock You and My Fair Lady. You have what I can only describe as the best damn voice I have ever heard EVER, and never fail to amaze me that you have so much to give everytime you sing, thank you for always giving 110%! I saw you in Wicked on several ocassions, including the lifechaning May 9th performance and have come to watch you in Oliver a couple of times since you joined the cast. I have tickets currently booked for October 2nd and, inevitably, January 8th where myself and a few of my friends I have met through seeing you at shows will be coming to support your final show. Cannot wait until the album on Monday and have pre-ordered the limited edition copy. I have also come to support you in every concert you have done in the last couple of years, including Great British Songbook and several of the Queen Spectaculars. All the love and luck for the future and will be seeing you very soon :) Love Lotte xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I have heard the Queen+PR Album The Cosmos rocks 2008 and undoubtedly I thought it was a Queen like music, I was expecting just that, my fault, Queen+PR is a new concept in music, but as we all thought it was going to last more time, it vanished, it just did not work…well but you and Brian May recovered a Original Queen concept, the one as if Freddie were alive. Thanks god I can hear to your album and say…whew, this is Queen like music as it should have been forever.

Hi Kerry!

I have clips of you singing some of my favorite songs, ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ and ‘Defying Gravity’ on my favorites list and listen to them whenever i am on my laptop! I saw Oliver! a week before christmas and thought you were amazing, i was also very surprised when i found out that my schoolfriends younger brother, Fraser Swindon was in Fagin’s Gang that night!
